How It Works

Get a random geocaching quest in seconds — right from your phone in the field.

Step by Step

  1. Open the home page on your phone.
  2. Enter the geocache code for the cache you are visiting.
  3. Enter your player nickname so the cache owner can see who played.
  4. Choose a quest category you enjoy.
  5. Tap I accept it when you are happy with the quest, or I want another quest to try again in the same category.
  6. Each player can accept only one quest per geocache. If you already accepted one, you can view it again later.

Quest Variety

Quests may be global (available at any participating cache) or tagged to specific geocache codes. The app avoids repeating the same quest too often by excluding the last 10 assignments for each cache code.

Play Fair

Quests are meant to add fun — not gatekeep the find. If a quest is impractical on the spot, pick another cache or ask the owner. Have fun and leave no trace.
